Mrs. Walter B. West, left, and Mrs. Monroe Lawson served as volunteer receptionists at City-County Hospital. Mrs. West, a member of the City-County Hospital Auxiliary, took the shift after Mrs. Lawson's turn. The Volunteer Center and the auxiliary are co-sponsoring the project to relieve the professional hospital staff of many of its non-professional duties.
