The 54th annual convention of the Texas Federation of Women's Clubs convened in Denton. Among those attending were, left to right, Mrs. J. W. Walker, Plainview; Mrs. J. Howard Hodge, president, Midland; Mrs. R. J. Turrentine, Denton, and Miss Ethel Foster, Sterling City. They participated in a ceremony honoring Mrs. Turrentine, a past TFWC president.
