    Mrs. Henry Converse of Waco, center, served tea to Mrs. R. L. McCann, left, president of the University Place Study Club, and Mrs. George Cope, first president of the club, when the organization held its silver anniversary tea at Glen Garden County Club. Mrs. Converse was first president of the Book section and second president of the study club. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, March 7, 1950.
