Description
Amon Carter Stadium was filled to capacity 34,794 football happy fans for the Texas Christian University - Texas A & M College clash. The crowd included several thousand cadets and hundreds of Texas State College for Women "Tessies" who came to Fort Worth on the official corps trip of the year. The purple and white of Texas Christian University vied with the maroon and white of the Aggies during the colorful game which was played in ideal weather. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 21, 1951.
