Reeds and Hogans, two of Masonic Home's longest if not strongest, athletic families. Jimmy Reed, 17, currently rules the Reed roost at Masonic Home. He graduates this spring, Jimmy owns three football letters, three basketball letters, two baseball letters and three tracks letters. Lots to Mail. Jimmy scored two straight knockouts in the regional Golden Gloves tournament this year before he was forced to default because of an injured hand. He was in the high school division. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition March 1, 1950.
