Description
Francis Baker (with head bandage) and Jeraldine Doyle take a firm grip on Mrs. James Pointer's skirt as Mrs. Pointer leads them across a busy intersection near Saint Alice School. Carrying a red tablecloth flag and her daughter, Frances Kathleen, 11 months, Mrs. Pointer was one of several school mothers who formed their own traffic squad for protection of school children.
