Description
Several hundred volunteer workers in the Community Chest's employe division's campaign hit the streets immediately after the campaign's kickoff to solicit pledges toward the division's $185,108 goal. Robert Hoyt, a division chairman, vowed he'd "bring 'em in" as he left his office. The division solicits gifts of $25 and under. The campaign was kicked off with fanfare at a Hotel Texas luncheon. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, October 3, 1951.
