Description
Shown is a new roadbed for the Santa Fe Railroad six-mile relocation project southeast of Benbrook Lake. Tracks at right are present line which will be inundated. Engineers set record building last 30 miles of line between Comanche and Brownwood in 1891 when job was completed in six weeks. Record still stands.
