    Description

Mrs. Mildred Mancill, left, of Monnig's Department Store makes use of the newly-installed "Charga-Plate" system to imprint on a charge slip the name and address of the customer, Miss Dorothy E. Dees of 812 East Baltimore. Put in operation, the system is intended to close a charge transaction within 8 seconds by doing away with the need for asking the charge customer's name and address. A tag bearing the necessary information is given to the customer to be used in a stamping apparatus whenever a purchase is made. Monnig's is the first Fort Worth store to install the system.
