Description

This is a view of the second section of the north-south Expressway where it ends at E. Rosedale. The section from Morningside Drive north to East Rosedale is expected to be opened to traffic between November 1 and 15, 1951. The structures are being used at Morningside Drive, E. Allen and E. Jessamine. Paving on access roads is being done this week and when completed, paving equipment of Texas Bitulithic Company will be moved to the Sylvania Street widening project. Shown is a man driving an excavator, moving dirt.
