Description
Jimmy Jeffrey, former Baylor player, tries to dive for a touchdown for Carswell football team in the opening period of game at Farrington's Field, but winds up instead in the arms of Don Riedder (61), Goodfellow football team guard. Dave Rakestraw (76), Carswell tackle, is the player in the foreground. The play started on the two-yard line, with Riedder stopping the fourth-down try on the one. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, September 15, 1951.
