    A heavyweight in his class when he weighed in at 13 pounds, 7 and a-half-ounces immediately after his birth at Harris Hospital, this lad, the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Moran of 2920 Fairfield, had trimmed off seven ounces but was still a husky armload for his nurse, Mrs. Laura Cook. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 27, 1950.
