Patricia Ann Ward, 8, became separated from her mother, Mrs. B. L. Johnson, downtown. But the girl made herself right at home at police headquarters and went to work on her lessons - with the aid of Sergeant W. R. King - until her mother came looking for her. A second-grade pupil at Our Lady of Victory, Patricia lives with her mother at 2015 7th Avenue.
