Description

Blind children of Fort Worth had their first class and for some it was like entering a new world. Nancy Lou Wallace, 6, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Wallace, 3412 Hazeline Drive studies by feel an arithmetic slate. Tommy Carpente, 6, son of Mrs. Nita Carpenter, 1318 Sixth Avenue, listens to a recording of a child's book. A photo of two children, a boy and a girl. The boy has on headphones working on a big instruments, and the little girl is playing the harp or piano. Both of them wear glasses.
