Description
West Texas art teachers were on hand to view the work of several hundred teenage art students in the 1950 Regional Scholastic Awards exhibition, now on display in Stripling's downstairs store. Being welcomed by Fort Worth's Assistant Superintendent W. A. Meacham, fourth from left, are left to right, Charles C. Jones, Miss Eva Patching, C. E. Kincaid, and Miss Thelma Stolz, art instructors in Amarillo schools, and Mrs. Horace Lovelady, Vernon High School art teacher. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 26, 1950.
