Flying with their husbands is part of the job of wives of flying farmers. In the picture at left are two flying grandmothers, Mrs. Vivian Cowan of Tulia, left, queen of the Texas farmers, and Mrs., Charles Rose, wife of the national president of Roseland, Arkansas. At right is Mrs. Earl Hawks of Bruning, Nebraska, who was praised in the Nebraska Farmer for her farm work. A woman smiling in this portrait holding up a newspaper.
