Mr. and Mrs. Walter J. (Pop and Mom) Krohne of Maitland, Florida, landed in a sailplane at Meacham Field with other fliers arriving for the National Flying Farmers Association convention. "Mom" Krohne is holding the queen's trophy given her by Florida flying farmers. Greeting them in Western Style are Mrs. Owen Dormer, left, of Hillsboro, and Mrs. E. M. (Tex) Anderson, Junior, right of Medina. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, August 27, 1951.
