Joy Bostick, 16, daughter of Fireman Jack Bostwick and Mrs. Bostick will represent Firefighters Local 440 in the Labor Day queen contest at Sycamore Park. The Polytechnic High School junior, who lives with her family at 3017 Avenue, North, is sponsored by the union's auxiliary in the beauty contest at the Labor Day picnic. A portrait of Joy Bostick is shown in the photograph. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, August 21, 1951.
