Mrs. Edna Gardner Whyte is participating in the All-Women Transcontinental Air Race checked in at Meacham Field and spent the night in Fort Worth. She is temporarily residing in Aberdeen, where her husband is with the Air Force. Mrs. Edna Gardner Whyte is shown inside a vehicle in the photograph.
