Gene Wright, 14, youngest cowboy on the Matador's Alamositas Ranch, gets a few tips from the oldest hand on the ranch, Newt Clendennen, who at 74 still wangles horses. He was a hand on the ranch when the Matador bought it from the XIT in 1902.
