An unidentified narcotic patient is shown painting a mural. This patient at the U. S. Public Health Service Hospital discovered his talent for painting while at the hospital. At 31, he hopes to start a new life as a commercial artist after studying at the Art Students League. He's shown here completing one of several Western murals he's done for the hospital recreation room. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, August 16, 1951.
