Hot enought for you? Those were fighting words Sunday as Fort Worth residents limply tried to beat the 106 degree heat. Ice sales jumped 25 percent. Sale of soft drinks were up about 30 percent. But it was too hot for the ice cream. Sales were average. Thousands flocked to air-conditioned movies. At the city's six swimming pools, 3,599 people tried to keep cool. Forest Park Pool has the largest crowd - 1,709 people during the day.
