Description
Photo feature on female painters in Fort Worth. Two members of the Creative Arts Section of the Junior Woman's Club, Mrs. W. M. Summers, left, and Mrs. Aubrey Strother, show each other the fruits of their painting season. The clipping reads, "Whether they desire to emulate Grandma Moses or be Churchillian painters, many Fort Worth women spend their spare hours painting. Some belong to women's clubs and some are just painters, without benefit of organizations. Pictured are several of the painting women who find surcease from domesticity and escape from routine with the brushes and paints."
