The Scurry County oil discovery came in for lots of talk among these bankers, left to right, Gus Holstrom, vice president of the First National Bank of Fort Worth; William M. Fuller, president of the Snyder National Bank, and B. T. Cardwell, vice president of the First State Bank of Odessa. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 23, 1950.
