Description
Height of Marble Falls Blast - A dynamite blast Monday destroyed the six foot high dam across the Colorado River at Marble Falls as the Lower Colorado River Authority prepared to fill the stream with water to create a new lake between two new dams. The picturesque falls, from which the town was named, are shown. At right is the old power plant which once furnished power for a cotton mill and the town.
