    Description

Photo feature on female painters in Fort Worth. Using Mrs. J. L. Slayton as a live model, these painters each see something different. They are, left to right, Robbie Sparks, Mrs. Harlon J. Koehler, Claudia Maxwell, and Mrs. D. H. Goodman. The clipping reads, "Whether they desire to emulate Grandma Moses or be Churchillian painters, many Fort Worth women spend their spare hours painting. Some belong to women's clubs and some are just painters, without benefit of organizations. Pictured are several of the painting women who find surcease from domesticity and escape from routine with the brushes and paints."
