Mr. and Mrs. Warren C. (Red) Cowen, 3640 W. Seminary Dr., are shown with their first child, Mary Kay, born at Harris Hospital. The child weighed 5 pounds, 101/2 ounces. Cown, a state representative in 1947, and '48, who lost both legs during fighting in the Pacific in World War II, said he will be a candidate for the Legislature again next year. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition July 27, 1951.
