Fort Worth members of the "99'ers", national organization of women pilots, will greet the 78 women flyers participating in the All-Women's Transcontinental Air Race August 15-19. Meacham Field is the only mandatory stop on the course from Santa Ana, California, to Detroit. The local pilots are, left to right, Mrs. Rowena Burns, Misses Bobbie Taylor, Mary Helen Rattikin and Marjorie Gray; Mmes. Berl Godfrey, Verna Burns and Pat Slisz.
