Plucky Nancy Voss of Wichita Falls, forgot about her cancer that has already caused the amputation of her right leg, got a big bang out of the "Tilt-a-Whirl" ride at Forest Park as the former Fort Worth resident spent her 12th birthday with her chums, Polly Spence, left, and Pat Perry. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition July 19, 1951.
