Lined up outside the door of the white settlement City Hall shower stall are some of the municipality's residents who explained that the water shortage at their homes forced them to go to the public building for a bath. Left to right, there are Mrs. Dan Schreck of 9129 White Settlement Rd.; Mrs. W. J. Richards of 9117 White Settlement Rd., and Richards; her daughter, Melinda, B. H. Anderson of 9133 White Settlement Rd., and Tech Sargeant Dan Schreck and his son, Robert Lee Schreck. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition July 19, 1951.
