Charting The Beam - Making a last-minute check on his 200-foot portable microwave test tower in Meadowbrook is F. T. Chinn of St. Louis, engineer crew chief of the AT&T crew which "zeroed in" Fort Worth Saturday for construction of a transcontinental television network terminal here near the WBAP-TV transmitter. AT&T linemen put this tower up in two hours, beginning at the top and working down. The top 8-foot section was placed in a framework and jacked up. The next section was slid under it, locked in place and jacked up for the next one and so on.
