Marian Gibson, 10 months, center, grins cheerfully as she was honored as the fifth generation at a reunion at the home of Mrs. Barney E. Coburn. The other four generations, left to right, are Mrs. Emma Weddle, Mrs. R. P. Wells, Mrs. Coburn, and Mrs. Billie Jo Gibson. Little Marian, was the first descendant of Mrs. Weddle to be born outside of Grapevine. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition July 8, 1951.
