Between 250 and 300 students are expected to be enrolled in the Air Force training unit at Texas Christian University. Major James W. Weaver, assistant professor of air science and tactics, said. Major Weaver, former Air Force Reserve Officers' Training Corps instructor at East Texas State Teachers College, has arrived for duty in helping set up the training program at the university. The number of enrollees, he said, will depend upon the outcome of the Korean war and the operation of the draft. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition July 8, 1951.
