Description
Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Markham, as photographed in Weatherford immediately after their marriage in Aledo in 1901, recently celebrated their golden wedding at their home. Markham explained that it was an elopement because Nora was just 15 and her parents thought she was too young to marry. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition July 8, 1951.
