    Description

    W. W. Durden, president of the National U. S. Highway 80 Association, was in Fort Worth to confer with Charles G. Cotten of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce on the highway association's convention. The association, which began to be organized by divisions in 1945, finally was organized nationally in 1948 under the direction of W. W. Durden, manager of the Ruston Chamber of Commerce. Thomas W. Davis of Odessa is a vice president and Texas directors are; H. D. Price, Jimmie Greene, John Womble. Hugh Sawyer. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition June 24, 1951.
