Description
Victor King - A young musician now living in Fort Worth. Mr. King has had a career extending from study with one of the most famous modern masters of the violin to arranging for popular bands. He has a record of versatility attributable to a combination of talents and resourcefulness. King shared with Harvey Gaul the conductorship of the Pittsburgh Civic Students Orchestra. Then followed four and half years with American Broadcasting Company in New York as staff arranger and conductor, working with Milton Cross. At the same time he arranged for Capitol Records for background music, for MGM Records for artist recording and 30 tunes a month for Muzak (coin machine disks). Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition June 24, 1951.
