Description
The National Guard Armory on E. Lancaster was a distribution point for dozens of U.S. flags with which Boy Scouts and Sea Scouts lined Lancaster for General Douglas MacArthur's entrance into the city. Handing them out is Art Miller, at left, Horned Frog Boy Scout district commissioner, assisted by Scoutmaster Joe Waggoner, in uniform at right, and Buck Rosenthal, assistant scoutmaster, at Waggoner's right. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition June 16, 1951.
