Spectators at Farrington Filed, where General Douglas MacArthur spoke, made sun bonnets using newspapers. They are left to right, Mrs. J. O. Childress, Mrs. H. Grady Davenport, and Gloria Davenport. "We," said Mrs. Davenport, "are on MacArthur's side." Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition June 17, 1951.
