Editors meet the general- At the Texas Press Association convention breakfast in Dallas. General Douglas MacArthur shook hands with 300 editors, their wives and children. The general is shown being greeted by Arthur A. Bagwill, editor of the Plano Star-Courier. Photographers' flash bulbs dazzled Bagwill's 9-year-old granddaughter Linda Kay Sherrill, who also shook hands with the general and his son, Arthur, shown beside him. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition June 17, 1951.
