Description

Annie, a dwarf cow was two years old when somebody loaded her on a truck and sent her off to the market. But a sympathetic cattle trader saved Annie Lou from the slaughter pens and gave her to a friend, Mrs. Horace A. Stokes. She became a family pet. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition June 24, 1951.
