The picture is a progress report on changing the downtown skyline. In foreground is shown steel in place for 11 of the 16 stories for the Jesse H. Jones office building, W. 7th and Taylor. At left, background is shown a portion of the 15-story Fort Worth National Bank at W. 7th and Main with steel work up to the 8th floor. The 19-story Fair Building is shown towering behind the new Jones structure. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition June 10, 1951.
