Description
L. W. (Smiley) Rowland, Glen Garden pro and newly elected president of the Texas Professional Golfer Association (PGA), exhibits his trophies from the tournament at Amarillo. The cup represents the senior championship of the PGA. The bag is a gift from the Mexican delegation which played a Texas team. L. W. Rowland is shown holding the trophy and the bag that was gifted to him. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition June 7, 1951.
