    Description

Summer "umbrellas" are what the giant zinnias could be that grow in the yard of Mrs. Alice G. Nexmith, 921 Davis. Mrs. Nesmith transformed a "grass patch" into a beauty spot despite arthritis and crutches. Mrs. Alice G. Nexmith can be seen with zinnias in her hands. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition June 10, 1951.
