Description
Mike Neu, 13-year-old Gainesville 4-H Club boy, makes a test run on his club project cotton before deciding it was too wet to plow and spray flea hoppers and bollweavils that are showing up in large numbers. This is the same problem encountered by farmers over a large portion of Noth Texas after a series of light rains along with mud, grass and insects. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition June 27, 1951.
