Description
Doing their bit to bring two giraffes to Forest Park Zoo, Jeanie Vedder, 3, Tommy Ray, 8, and Ruth Vedder, 7, drop dimes in donation box at Parkway Theater. Bud Sweeney, left, and Robert Hunter of Boy Scout Troop 32 manned the box. Other scouts were on duty with donation boxes at six other theaters. Five children contributing to the donation box can be seen in the photograph. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition June 2, 1951.
