Description

Director Hamilton Hittson points out the site of Forest Park Zoo's planned giraffe house to Christina Johnson, Lanita Due and Linda Davis, left to right. They are members of Brownie Troop 157, which canceled an annual outing and gave the money to the Giraffe Fund. The giraffe house will adjoin the elephant and hippopotamus quarters. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition June 3, 1951.
