First official act of Earl P. Hall, left, after he was sworn in as chief justice of the Second Court of Civil Appeals was to swear in Tom J. Renfro, right, as an associate justice on the court. Mr. Renfro formerly was 96th District Court Judge. Earl P. Hall and Tom J. Renfro is shown raising their right arms. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition June 1, 1951.
