Description
Cub Scouts of Pack 18's Den 4 manufactured this giraffe costume, then decided it would be lonely as the city's only creature with a five-foot neck. At Ridglea Methodist Church they will have a circus, with proceeds to go toward bringing two giraffes to Forest Park Zoo. Petting the animal costume is David Barnett. The feet belong to Stuart Lee and Kenneth Hunt, Jr. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition June 1, 1951.
