A processional of faculty members and executives marched with Governor Allan Shivers at the head at a Texas Christian University (TCU) commencement exercises on the campus. Left to right, are Dr. John H. Hammond, whose face is obscured by a flag; Dr. W. C. Nunn, Dr. Moffitt Cecil, Governor Shivers, Dr. John Forsyth, Dr. M. E. Sadler, university president, and Dr. Otto Nielsen, university vice president. Published in the evening edition, May 19, 1951.
