Description
Honorary degrees in three fields were conferred at Texas Wesleyan College's (TWC) commencement exercises. Pictured left to right, are Dr. Walter R. Glick, TWC vice president, Dr. Elbert Stout, former TWC president who received an honorary doctorate in humanities; Dean Elmer J. Cox, Electra Waggoner Biggs, of Vernon, who received the honorary degree of doctor of fine arts, and David Baron Foltz, who received an honorary a doctorate in music. Published in the evening edition, May 29, 1951.
